Enroll your authenticator
Open My account → Two-step verification. Scan the QR code with your authenticator and enter its six-digit code to finish. Setup does not become active until the code is verified. Company Admins should strongly consider enabling this before handling customer data.
Keep a secure backup
Add a second authenticator or keep a secure backup of the setup key. MendDock does not issue recovery codes in this release. Never send an enrollment QR code, password or setup key to support.
Signing in again
Once enabled, signing in with a password or email link is not enough to open protected workspace data. MendDock asks for an authenticator code. These checks are applied to server access and database permissions as well as the screen.
Lost access
A password reset does not bypass two-step verification. Contact hello@menddock.com for an identity-verified recovery process. Removing the last verified authenticator turns off two-step verification for your account.
